Watch a demo of glass shaping and blowing at Peter Patterson Glassworks. They make glass hearts, shamrocks, eggs, flowers, pyramids, pumpkins, ornaments and more to fit the timing of your tour. Include a glass gift to take home or time to shop their amazing collection of handmade glass pieces.

Lunch is at Lambs Farm’s Magnolia Café, where everything is made with a mission. At the Visitor Center, staff will explain their purpose and the products they make such as their famous butter cookies, turtles, jams and jellies and more. Take some time to enjoy the other shops - pets, resale and gifts.

Only 5 minutes away is North Shore Distillery, Illnois’ first craft distillery since Prohibition. Take a tour – meet Ethel the still, of course a tasting and some mixology at a cocktail class. Maybe our Lake County Sunset Sips perhaps?

Or if beer is more your type, Tighthead Brewery is a fun “extension of their living room” to relax and sample what’s on tap.

Lastly, for your sweet tooth on the way home, pick up pre-ordered cannoli from Tony Cannoli. Pack the coolers ahead of time because we know your group will want to bring some home to share.
