Six Flags Great America Fright Fest presented by SNICKERS®

Enjoying the Frights...

(Last Updated: September 15, 2023)

"Darkness falls across the land. The midnight hour is close at hand. Creatures crawl in search of blood, to terrorize y'alls neighborhood."

Six Flags Great America's Fright Fest presented by SNICKERS® has returned. Crypts, ghouls, zombies and everything else Halloween takes over the Gurnee amusement park on select days from September 16-October 29.

The park is run by a satanic creature named Nox who vows to scare the living daylights out of you. Nox and his creepy band of gruesome creatures have awoken from their three-season snooze, and they show no mercy.

Thrills By Day, Frights By Night

The night time is the fright time. From park opening until 6 p.m., Six Flags Great America is all smiles and pumpkins. Once the clock strikes 6 p.m., there are no more friendly ghosts. Zombies, clowns and other ghouls roam the park just waiting for the right moment to terrify you and your friends. Ride all of the Six Flags coasters and be prepared to be joined by a ghoul. This seven-week event features 16 thrilling coasters, six spooktacular shows, six haunted houses and so much more. You must experience the spooky twist the Gurnee amusement park puts on rides like Rue le Dodge and Terror Twister 2: Turn for the Worse.
