This superfood and smoothie café just celebrated its second year in business. Lolo’s Bowls results from their owners’ mission to bring the taste of Hawaii to Illinois. The Berry Divine Soft Serve Acai is made from acai and a tasty mixture of organic fruit juices. The Fall Seasonal Bowl is inspired by trail mix while containing many nutritious and healthy ingredients. The seasonal bowl is then topped off with creamy granola butter.

Once again, Phase Three Brewing has captured what it’s like to bite into a caramel apple with their latest collaboration with Affy Tapple. The 5% ABV blonde ale recipe adds apple juice and hints of sweet caramel and roasted peanuts to embrace the essence of an Affy Tapple Caramel Apple.  A Bushel of Apples is the October 2021 Lake County Libation of the Month.

In celebration of Halloween, the Long Grove-based brewery is bringing back its insanely popular Candy Corn Ale. On Friday, October 29, there will be a small batch release, and it usually sells out quickly. The brew is made with natural candy corn. It combines a silky cream ale with accents of that familiar marshmallow, vanilla, and buttery caramel-like flavor to produce a hauntingly delicious beer.
