A weatherman is out to cover the annual emergence of the groundhog from its hole. He gets caught in a blizzard that he did not predict and finds himself trapped in a time warp. He is doomed to relive the same day over and over again until he can get it right

Batman Begins (2005)

A young Bruce Wayne travels to the far east, where he is trained in the martial arts, Henri Ducard. When Ducard reveals the League of Shadows true purpose, the complete destruction of Gotham City, Wayne returns to Gotham intent on cleaning up the city without resorting to murder. Batman is born.

Ice Harvest (2005)

As the attorney for a mobster has access to some not-so-clean money, he readily embezzles it with the help of an associate. On Christmas Eve, the two partners decide to hightail it with the money, but an ice storm sweeping through the area delays their departure. Stuck in town, they visit a strip club owner and let on about the money. Once the owner no longer stays, more trouble builds.
