First Fridays on MainStreet Libertyville

The best way to chase away the winter blues is to come to downtown Libertyville! MainStreet Libertyville’s First Friday of the year is March 1st. To kick start your walk downtown, visit How Impressive where the Good Time Band will be entertaining, or indulge yourself with a sweet treat after dinner at Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory where you will receive a free candy bar with purchase. Either add to your winter wardrobe and find something for your spring break vacation at Allure with 10% off purchaseand an additional 10% off winter markdowns. The first Friday of each month through December, the restaurants and shops of downtown Libertyville will be open late offering special promotions. Start the evening with dinner at one of your favorite restaurants. Café Pomigliano offers a free glass of house wine with your meal. Or enjoy a 1/2 priced appetizer and 1/2 priced drinks during Happy Hour 3pm-6pm. In the mood to laugh? Improv Playhouse’s First Friday Funnies: Stand-Up Comedy Showcase is at 8 pm, 735 N. Milwaukee Avenue.

Parking is free in the two covered parking garages located on Lake Street and Church Street. Take the train. The metra station is located in the heart of the downtown.
