Join in to experience nature from the water. Participants will develop paddling skills while exploring nature. Gain experience using kayaks, canoes and stand up paddleboards.

Paddle with us at Independence Grove Forest Preserve while learning the ecology of our local waterways. Over three days, participants develop their paddling skills and explore nature while using solo kayaks, tandem canoes and stand up paddleboards (SUP). Learn about native aquatic plants and animals while having lots of water-based fun. Beginner level

This program is for children ages 12-14 by the first day of the program.

We are unable to make age exceptions because activities are geared to cognitive, emotional and physical abilities for this program's specific age range.

Please complete and turn in all forms at least one week prior to the start of the session.
