Beginning June 9, the Garden will introduce a limited reopening. With your safety in mind, we’re doing things a little differently. We will open the perimeter walk, allowing you to get out and walk a 2.3-mile loop of the Garden. This will allow all to experience the Garden, the power of plants, and the respite that nature provides while still maintaining safe social distancing.
This is your chance to get moving—and get back to the Garden we all love. The perimeter walk is a 2.3-mile route along paved roads and paths that takes visitors past the North Lake, offers beautiful vistas of the Malott Japanese Garden, and gives a chance for up-close views of spring blooms in the Dixon Prairie and the McDonald Woods.
