Flight Behavior

This Ryerson Reads book talk will feature Flight Behavior by Barbara Kingsolver and led by Benjamin Goluboff, professor of English at Lake Forest College and an expert in American literature. Kingsolver's riveting novel concerns a young mother on a failing farm in rural Tennessee whose discovery of millions of off-course monarch butterflies energizes various competing factions--religious leaders, climate scientists, environmentalists, politicians--trapping her in the center of the conflict and ultimately opening up her world.
