Medicinal Uses of Wetland Plants at Volo Bog State Natural Area

Saturday June 30, 2018

Times: 1:30 - 2:30 p.m.

Medicinal Uses of Wetland Plants at Volo Bog State Natural Area

Pharmacy student and Volo Bog intern Anna Ngo will introduce the fascinating history – and a little of the future – of medicinal plants that grow at Volo Bog State Natural Area. No, this is NOT a collecting program (it is a Nature Preserve, after all) but rather a look at how our ancestors may have used the plants and some possible uses if only we would look. Geared to adults.
Meet in the visitor center classroom
