Waukegan Symphony Orchestra

Join the Waukegan Symphony Orchestra for its final concert of the season, titled The Germanic Tradition on Sunday, May 20 at 4pm at Waukegan High School’s Trapp Auditorium, Brookside Campus. The concert will feature W.A. Mozart’s Overture to The Magic Flute, Richard Strauss’ Concerto No. 1 for Horn, Op. 11, and Johannes Brahms’ Symphony No. 1 in C Minor, Op. 68. Jaime Leff is the soloist on horn for the Strauss Concerto. Jaime, originally of Buffalo Grove, IL, is the Second Horn for the Houston Ballet Orchestra. She plays frequently with the Houston Symphony and the Houston Grand Opera, as well as the San Antonio Symphony and Louisiana Philharmonic. This will be the final concert for Conductor Stephen Blackwelder. Stephen has successfully led the Waukegan Symphony Orchestra for the past 18 years.

Miscellaneous Information

Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 senior 62+/Military, $7 student, and free for students 18 years and under. There is a service fee with Brown Paper Tickets.
