Brushwood Center at Ryerson Woods and Lake County Audubon have partnered to present Birding with Cameras. This new program starts on October 21, 2017 and meets once monthly every third Saturday at 7:30am at the Brushwood Center’s parking lot in Ryerson Woods. Birders are invited to come with binoculars and cameras on a hike through Ryerson Woods, guided by Lake County Audubon board member and award-winning photographer and naturalist, Emma England. Emma will take us on her favorite trails while sharing tips on taking great shots of these difficult-to-capture but lovable creatures. Ryerson Woods is noted as one of the premiere birding areas of Illinois. Following the hike, birders are invited to Brushwood Center to tour the historic home and nature-inspired art gallery. Stay tuned for inspiring speakers, field trips, and bird-inspired photography and art exhibitions. Register below or call 224-633-2426.
One Saturday per month.
