Heirloom Tomato Weekend

Get new ideas about tomatoes, with programs focused on growing and using heirloom varieties. Trace the fascinating history of tomatoes, get tips on growing and cooking with tomatoes, tour the tomatoes growing at the Regenstein Fruit & Vegetable Garden with the staff horticulturist and learn how easy it is to save heirloom/open-pollinated tomato seeds. Shop for tomato-related items in the Wheelbarrow Shop and from local vendors. Families can take part in a variety of hands-on games and activities.
