Waukegan Symphony Orchestra's Young People's Concert

Join the Waukegan Symphony Orchestra for its Young People’s Concert on Saturday, February 24 at 11am at Waukegan High School’s Trapp Auditorium, Brookside Campus. The concert features Saint-Saëns 'Carnival of the Animals.' Other selections include: Vivaldi’s Cello concerto, Sousa’s 'The Stars and Stripes Forever,' Glière’s 'Russian Sailor’s Dance' and Schuman’s 'Variations on America.' The Waukegan Symphony Orchestra, established in 1974, has a long history of performing the annual Young People’s Concert as a means to interest families in classical music and learning a musical instrument.
