Day One - Get your Chic on! Start your day at the Great Lakes Antiques Boutique in Antioch- featuring 120 vendors over 10,000 square feet of space. From rare finds to DIY creations by local artists.
Lunch is at our infamous Salutos of Gurnee where their house salad dressing is a well-kept secret. This family-owned restaurant features homemade pastas, sauces and desserts.
The afternoon calls for a visit to one of our many cherished Main Street communities like Libertyville. Visit a variety of boutiques offering local artwork, culinary supplies, foodstuffs, jewelry and so much more. Schedule a date to visit their weekly Farmers Market or First Fridays for amazing deals!
The cheers initiate a wonderful evening starting at North Shore Distillery.Take a tour of Illinois' first craft distillery since Prohibition and partake in amazing concoctions created by the owners, Sonja and Derek.
Dinner at The Chocolate Sanctuary is a must. Owners Donna and Bill fashioned ambiance, chocolates, menu and drinks with ladies taste in mind.
The night is still young; head over to the Genesee Theatre for a concert, Broadway show or comedian act. There is no driving to downtown Chicago and it's all very affordable entertainment!

Day Two - Start in quaint Volo at a pure shopper's paradise, Volo Antique Village. Three malls and 30-acres dedicated to antiques, collectibles, home furnishings and gifts.
Charming Historic Downtown Long Grove offers a lovely high tea at High Tea With Gerri. Take some time to explore this delightful village with its unique shops and galleries.
The late afternoon brings cravings for something sweet - chocolate; the Long Grove Confectionery fills the bill. Residents may be partial but we think it's the finest chocolate in the area and a great place to shop for gifts for the ones you left behind (for this trip...).
A stop at the nearby Lynfred Winery's Wheeling store is a must. Illinois' oldest winery features many varieties and a group wine tasting will help find everyone's perfect blend to bring home.
The trip back to your hotel provides many wonderful Lake County restaurant choices - may we suggest Big Bowl or WIldfire Chops and Steaks, just north of Lynfred Winery.
Lake County has many other entertainment venues - the stars under the stars at Ravinia Festival, musicals at Marriott Theatre and more. We can help you find the right nightlife for your group of gals that is convenient and reasonable.
