“O Christmas tree, O Christmas tree, how lovely are thy branches.” Have you been dragging your feet this year and haven’t picked up your family tree yet? No worries at all, because Lake County has got you covered. Christmas trees have a sort of "je ne sais quoi." Each family’s holiday needs are unique to their respective tree. That can all depend on the tree's fullness, the pine cone smell or perhaps to boost the holiday spirit in some of the humbugs. Don’t be a blockhead like Charlie Brown. No matter if it’s a real tree (that you cut down or bought) or the artificial equivalent, grab a lovely festive tree in Lake County this holiday season.

4. Visit Santa in Lake County (Through December 24)

Before the children have nestled all snug in their beds with visions of sugar plums dancing in their heads, make sure to visit Kringle.

New for this year is the Christmas Tree Decorating Contest. Trees are decorated by various community members and organizations, so no one setup is like the other.
