Indulge in a fare journey this Sunday at Lake Zurich’s Paulus Park for the Taste of the Towns. Sample the bites from local eateries, restaurants, caterers and food retailers. Many vendors will be in attendance like Lake County Libation Trail partners Copper Fiddle Distillery, Roaring Table Brewing Co., Phase Three Brewing Co. of Lake Zurich and more.  Local eatery La Parroquia Mexican Pancake House hosts a contest where 10 competitors faceoff for a winner-take-all burrito challenge. The contestant eating the most of a five-pound burrito wins a cash prize. The 16th installment of this foodie fest also features family activities like a performance from the Glowby Bubbler, a kids car painting experience and a temporary tattoo artist. Live music by Heather Moran and Ned Abderholden indulges your auditory senses while the taste palette finds new favorites. Admission includes one taste from each vendor, and additional tasting tickets are available for purchase. An event lanyard provides one sample from each vendor, costs $30 online and $40 at the gate. Visit LZAcc.com for more event information and to purchase lanyards.
