Community Partners

The Village of Grayslake, established in 1895, is located in central Lake County, approximately forty miles north of Chicago and fourteen miles west of Lake Michigan. Grays Lake, a 78 acre recereational lake, is located within the Village. This is one of Lake County's oldest communities and features the Grayslake Heritage Center - a museum showcasing the history of the area. This spring, the Grayslake Heritage Center will become the final stop in the nation to host the Abraham Lincoln: Self-Made in America Exhibit. The Village offers numberous family-friendly events, including the annual Lake County Fair and the country's largest evening farmers market. Visitors also enjoy unique dining and shopping experiences in Grayslake's historic Downtown.
