Description
The Chicago Botanic Garden, with its world-renowned plant collections and displays, is one of the country's most visited public gardens and a preeminent center for learning and scientific research. The 385-acre garden features 23 beautiful display gardens and three native habitats, uniquely situated on nine islands surrounded by lakes. Climb up a waterfall garden, chug over to the Model Railroad Garden and enjoy exciting events including live music during the summer season. Flower shows, children and adult classes, gardening tips, seasonal farmers market and special events are offered throughout the year. State-of-the-art meeting rooms accommodating up to 400, a 225 seat auditorium, on-site catering and outdoor garden spaces are also available for special events and weddings.
