The sports facilities in Lake County are exceptional. The Libertyville Soccer Complex is easily one of the finest collections of soccer fields in the country. Nearby is the multi-purpose Libertyville Sports Complex with 168,000 sq. ft of indoor space. The Waukegan Field House and the Round Lake Beach Sports Complex both have 40,000 sq. ft, and The Lake Barrington Fieldhouse features 175,000 sq. ft of indoor floor space. The Lake County Fairgrounds offers 75,000 sq. ft of indoor floor space. The new Waukegan SportsPark offers 138 acres of 14 outdoor sports fields, 1 lighted synthetic turf championship field, four lighted baseball/softball fields & parking for over 600 vehicles.
