FREE event promotes literacy, while providing a chance to get up close and personal with reptiles
WHAT: Families are invited to Reading With the Reptiles, a free family fun event designed to promote literacy and an appreciation for animals. Each week, Serpent Safari animal experts will read different reptile-themed stories to children, then answer questions from kids about various reptiles. Kids will also have the opportunity to touch and hold each week's featured reptiles, ranging from baby alligators to bearded dragon lizards and more. In addition, kids will receive complimentary goody bags, including giveaways and special offers from Rainforest Café, Serpent Safari and participating Gurnee Mills retailers (while supplies last). WHEN: Every Thursday 10:30 a.m. - 11:15 a.m.
