Times: Saturday: 9am-6pm

This event is the perfect family oriented day out. There will be a Battle Buddy 5k in conjunction with the military, a 24 hour BBQ Challenge kicking off March 2 and tons of fun in the streets and Highwood businesses. The Festival will culminate into a spectacular display of airborne lanterns where representatives and citizens of the City of Highwood will light and launch the papered candle lanterns into the night sky with personal wishes written on the outside. And, right before the launch in tribute to the military and Ft. Sheridan, a military jet will fly over Highwood!
