Photo of the Week - Holiday Inn Gurnee

I took a hard hat tour of the Holiday Inn Gurnee this week. The Holiday Inn Gurnee has been a landmark in the Village of Gurnee for many years and has been under new ownership for almost 2 years now (I believe), and going through a massive renovation. The renovation project is almost complete and the hotel will be re-open in 11 days on May 9th.

The hotel will have a new restaurant, Spice Restaurant and Lounge serving breakfast, lunch and dinner featuring True Blue American Eastern Fusion Cuisine. The Lounge will feature an array of martinis, fantastic wine selection and favorite libations with soothing music, flat screen TV's, and warm service. The Convention Center has 9,000 sq. ft. available for meetings and up to 8 meeting rooms, with state of the art meeting equipment.

The newly renovated guestrooms feature a King or 2 Double beds, have complimentary Wi-Fi access, and the Holiday Inn signature Egyptian cotton bedding. All guests will enjoy complimentary access to our pool, fitness center, and 24-hour business center.

I personally can not wait until this hotel reopens on May 9th. Check back then as I will have another blog post about it.
