Let's go play in Mundelein. There some great places to take the kids around Mundelein to have a little fun in the sun, a little splash in the drink and (hopefully) a straight putt into the cup.

Countryside Golf Club 20800 W. Hawley St.

At Countryside Golf Club, play two challenging, award-winning 18-hole golf courses. The Prairie course, with bentgrass tees, wide-open greens and sand bunkers offers golfers a chance to challenge their game. The Traditional course, with bentgrass tees and tree-lined fairways, offers golfers scenic and challenging rounds of golf.

Diamond Lake Beach & Recreational Center 1016 Diamond Lake Rd.

Diamond Lake Recreation Center is 100 acres. It includes a pristine lake, sand beach, grassy areas, and shaded picnic grove. In summertime, the facility is the hub for Diamond Lake Beach, a recreational destination for swimming, boating, fishing, boat and shelter rentals, special events and more. Paddle boats are available for rent for an enjoyable excursion on the water.

Keith Mione Community Park and Sports Complex 1461 N. Midlothian Rd.

This park features a stocked lake for fishing, tennis courts, a lighted ball fields, a picnic shelter, two water thrills, Barefoot Bay Family Aquatic Center and Spray Park. Wintertime offers free fun with Mundelein’s largest sled hill and the lighted ice rink for open skate, hockey, and unique things such as "broomball"on ice.
