Suggested itinerary:

-Start your day touring the breath-taking Place de la Musique, the private home of the Sanfilippo family. The Sanfilippo’s operate John B. Sanfilippo & Sons, Inc., the second largest nut meat processing company in the world, and the parent company of Chicago’s Fisher Nut. Combine the docent-guided tour of their 44,000 sq. ft. residence which houses the world’s finest collection of automatic musical instruments with a tour of the Carousel Pavilion featuring the Eden Palais Carousel. Your group will also be treated to a mini-concert on the world’s largest theater pipe organ.

-Stop at Norton’s USA general store-everything sold is made in the U.S.

-Lunch is at Chessie's Restaurant, a well-known Barrington dining establishment. This historic eatery encompasses the original Barrington depot and a train car. Then explore the historic Ice House Mall and its 14 unique shops.

-Lynfred Winery is Illinois’ oldest winery. Their satellite store in Wheeling offers tastings of several wines that change every month.

-Check into Holiday Inn Express & Suites and prepare for the evening’s entertainment (many options available-we suggested one for you).

-The next morning, enjoy breakfast at the hotel with the Express Start Breakfast Bar.

-Drive to Long Grove Historic Village for unique shopping and lunch.

-Long Grove Confectionery Chocolate Tour & shopping for a sweet ride home.
